Hello! I’m Surbhi.

Owner/Lead Evaluator at Amplify Evaluation & Consulting

Surbhi Lipkin-Moore has a Ph.D. in Human Services Psychology from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). She is originally from New Hampshire and received a B.A. in Political Science and Mathematics from the University of Vermont, and an M.A. in Human Services Psychology from UMBC. Prior to her Ph.D., Surbhi led research and evaluation projects at the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement at Tufts University.

As a community psychologist, Surbhi specializes in working collaboratively with community or institutional partners to assess how organizations or programs can promote positive development among individuals exposed to systemic barriers. She has a special interest in participatory approaches, data visualization, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, and extensive experience with K-12 and higher education STEM-related programs.

In addition to owning Amplify Evaluation, Surbhi is the Consulting Evaluator at Broadening Impacts, partnering with researchers to get their knowledge into the world.

In her free time, Surbhi enjoys spending time with family, puzzles, podcasts, being on the Board of the local Montessori school and being the chef, mechanic, and artistic director for her two wonderful kids.
